"The novice bassoonists in my department use an album of pieces whose titles are dominated by puns involving the suffix "-oon". Perhaps bassoonists are particularly addicted to this sort of word-play and the title of this piece is offered very much in the spirit of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em".
